The Gap Nobody Tells You About
You booked a day-of coordinator in March. Your wedding is in November. Between those two dates, you are on your own.
That is how day-of coordination usually works. Someone takes your deposit, then goes quiet until about six weeks before, when a stranger calls to ask for your vendor list.
Meanwhile you are the one reading the rental agreement. You are the one guessing whether ninety minutes is enough for photos. You are the one who does not know that your caterer and your venue have different ideas about what time the kitchen closes.
That is the gap. It is eight months long, and it is where almost everything that goes wrong on a wedding day actually goes wrong.
What I Am Doing While You Are Not Looking
I am a Certified Wedding Planner and a Certified Timeline Specialist. That first credential is the one that changes what this package is. Most day-of coordinators coordinate, which means they carry out a plan somebody else built. I plan, which means I can see what is coming while there is still time to move it. Here is what that looks like on your wedding day.
What You Are Doing
Where I Am
You are having your hair finished.
I am on site confirming that every vendor arrived when they said they would, because I sent them your finalised timeline a week ago and I know exactly who is late before anyone else does.
You are putting on your dress.
I am placing your escort cards, your seating chart, your guestbook, your champagne flutes and your favors, and styling whatever your florist did not handle, so the room is finished before a single guest sees it.
You are waiting to walk.
I have your marriage licence and your rings, your wedding party is lined up in order, and I am cueing your music, your officiant and your processional so the doors open on the beat rather than whenever someone guesses.
You are taking photographs.
I am bustling your gown, moving cocktail hour along, and telling your photographer, your videographer and your DJ where they need to be next, so nobody comes to find you with a question.
You are dancing.
I am paying your final vendor balances and distributing gratuities, packing every gift and card, and boxing up everything that belongs to you. You will not carry a single thing to your car.
"If you text me, don't put your phone down."
I tell every couple that on our first call, and I mean it literally. Same day, every day, never tomorrow.
Not from six weeks out. From the day you book.
Everything Flawless Finish Covers

The months before.
Unlimited communication from the day you book through your wedding day, plus monthly check-ins so nothing sits unanswered. Two planning touchpoints, a virtual introduction call and a final timeline review. A full review of your vendor contracts and rental agreements, which almost nobody offers at this tier and which is where most expensive surprises hide. Your custom minute-by-minute itinerary, confirmation of every vendor's arrival and departure time, and your finalised timeline delivered to every vendor a week before the wedding.
The day itself.
A lead coordinator and one assistant, on site two hours before your event begins and staying until your final exit. Full management of your timeline from start to finish. Styling and placement of your décor, florals, candles, linens and personal items. Direct coordination with every vendor on arrival and setup. Handling of your final vendor payments and gratuities. Full oversight of setup and breakdown across both your ceremony and reception spaces.
Every moment in between.
Bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages distributed. Guests seated, programs handed out, signage placed. Your wedding party lined up and your processional timed. Music, officiant and processional cued. Your photographer, videographer and musicians directed. Your marriage licence and rings kept safe. Your gown bustled. Your introductions, first dance, toasts, cake cutting and specialty dances coordinated. Catering and bar timing handled directly. Real-time schedule updates to you and your partner. Every gift and card packed, and your guests guided through your send-off.

Flawless Finish Deluxe

Why Most Couples Choose Deluxe
It is the rehearsal, almost every time.
Without one, your wedding party walks into the ceremony having never done it. Somebody asks where to stand. Somebody starts walking too early. Your parents are not sure when to sit. None of it ruins anything, but all of it is felt, and it happens in the ten minutes you will remember most.
The rehearsal is a separate day. A separate drive to your venue, and an hour to an hour and a half of walking your people through it until they know exactly what they are doing. For four hundred dollars you also get a walkthrough of your venue before it matters, a room diagram for both spaces, and an emergency kit that has saved more dresses than I can count. If you are choosing between the two, that is the honest case for the second one.
Add What You Need
Some couples want a piece of the fuller planning tiers without moving up to one. A seating chart. Help managing RSVPs. An extra walkthrough. Those can be added individually.
Tell me on the call what is keeping you awake, and we will build it around that rather than around a package name.
The Questions Couples Actually Ask
What time does your coordinator leave?
Ask every planner you interview this question, because most of them do not volunteer the answer. A lot of day-of coordination ends after dinner, or after the cake cutting. Mine does not. I am there two hours before your event to handle your setup, and I am still there when you walk out the door for your final exit, packing your gifts, lining up your send-off, and making sure the last person who helps you that night is someone you know.
Everyone charges around this much. What makes yours different?
Two things. The first is the eight months before the wedding: most day-of coordination begins four to six weeks out, and mine begins the day you book, with unlimited communication, monthly check-ins, and a full review of your vendor contracts. The second is who you are hiring. I am a Certified Wedding Planner, not only a coordinator, so I catch the things that become problems long before they become your problem. You are paying roughly what you would pay elsewhere for a materially different level of experience.
Will I actually get you, or someone from your team?
You get me from the day you book, for every question, every month, all the way through. On the wedding day you may have a lead coordinator and an assistant if I'm not able to be with you, but whoever is standing beside you will be someone I chose, trained, and introduced you to long before the day.
We have already planned everything ourselves. Is this still worth it?
That is exactly who this is for. You did the hard part. What is left is the execution, and execution is a different skill from planning. You should be a guest at your own wedding.
What if something goes wrong on the day?
Something usually does. A vendor runs late, the weather turns, a bustle fails. The difference is whether you hear about it. My job is that you do not, and that you find out weeks later, laughing, if at all.
Which one should I book?
If you are having a ceremony with a wedding party, book Deluxe, because the rehearsal is worth the difference. If your ceremony is small and simple, Flawless Finish is plenty. I will tell you honestly on the call, even when it is the less expensive one.

When your vision needs a reality boost
"Our experience with Taren and Diamond Receptions was true in professionalism and attention to detail. We needed a bit of hand-holding and Taren and team were there every step of the way. Our vision was turned into reality. Taren will forever hold a place in hearts. 100% recommend her."
